Named after the former Spanish motorbike racer Ricardo Tormo, the Circuit Ricardo Tormo is more than just a racetrack - it is a popular destination for the whole family, as there is usually an exciting entertainment programme around the competitions. The circuit also places great emphasis on promoting young talent and gives newcomers to motorbike and kart racing the chance to gain their first experience on the surrounding tracks.

Who was Ricardo Tormo?

The race track is named after Ricardo Tormo, a Spanish racing driver from Valencia. He made his debut in 1973 at the Spanish Grand Prix in the 50 cc class.
